Network Flap

A few minutes ago we observed a network flap at our datacenter location in Frankfurt. We're currently investigating and keep you posted.

Parts of the core network were unavailable for just under 5 minutes due to a failed network device. We're still investigating the root cause of the device failure.

Right now everything seems stable again, but we're assessing the situation and continue to closely monitor the status of all networking devices at the affected location.

The failed network device is back up and running. We implemented config changes on our core switches in an attempt to prevent further incidents like this.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation over the next hours until tomorrow.
